At Sims Law Firm, Ltd., we recognize that the attorney fees involved in any legal matter is a concern. We try to address that in the best ways that we can.

In some matters, we charge either a flat fee for the entire transaction, or a flat fee for a designated service. This type of fee is typically found in transactions involving the purchase and sale of real estate, evictions, most transactional work, and certain aspects of recording a mechanics lien. That rate is determined by a variety of factors, including the complexity of the issue and the time frame in which the work needs to be completed.

On many litigation matters, however, we charge by the hour for our services. In these matters we will discuss the litigation process with you, explain the various factors involved in each aspect of litigation, and to the extent possible, provide you with estimates as to the possible length of the litigation as well as the possible costs involved.
